NAF- National Aid Fund Projects

On October 9, 2024, the Garment Design & Training Services Center (GSC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the National Aid Fund to empower low-income and vulnerable families by providing vocational and technical training programs. These programs aim to enhance beneficiaries’ skills, integrate them into the labor market, and improve their living standards.

As part of this partnership, GSC has successfully implemented several impactful projects across multiple regions in Jordan:

  • Industrial Sewing Training in the Northern Region (Irbid) – Trained 34 beneficiaries on industrial sewing techniques.
  • Industrial Sewing Training in Sama Al-Sarhan (Mafraq) – Trained 30 beneficiaries.
  • Industrial Sewing Training in Mliha (Madaba) – Two separate training programs, reaching 27 and 14 beneficiaries respectively.
  • Industrial Sewing Training in Marka (Amman) – Trained 24 beneficiaries.
  • Industrial Sewing Training in Ain Al-Basha – Trained 29 beneficiaries.
  • Industrial Sewing Training in Deir Alla – Trained 31 beneficiaries.
  • Machine Embroidery Training in West & South Amman (at GSC headquarters) – Trained 32 beneficiaries on advanced machine embroidery techniques.

In addition to training, the program provided direct employment opportunities for many graduates by connecting them with active factories in the garment sector, ensuring a smoother transition into the workforce.

Furthermore, GSC is preparing to launch new training programs in Balqa, Ajloun, Ma'an and Jerash, expanding its reach and continuing to support economic empowerment and community development across the Kingdom.
